G STRETCH 201

Often underestimated processes in stencil production

Reconditioning the screen frames represents a major challenge within the overall screen preparation process. The objective consists in removing the residual mesh shreds and the dried-up glue as safely and rapidly as possible from the screen frame. In many cases, this procedure is still a manual one, which results later on in disruption and high costs in your production process. That is why the frame cleaning process deserves your thorough attention.

Correct screen drying is very often underestimated. Unsatisfactory drying solutions cause considerable extra costs. Most common shortcomings are

  • No neat separation of the individual processes
  • Insufficient protection against UV light
  • Unsatisfactory final drying
  • Inadequate dust protection
  • Suboptimal work sequences (handling)

Decisive for service providers is the traceability of the delivered quality as well as professional packaging of the stencils. With the G-PROOF system, fabric tension, layer thickness, surface roughness and image data are digitally recorded and printed out as a protocol. The stencils can be brought into any position for inspection and can then be ergonomically packed.

With the G-PREP, G-DRY and G-PROOF equipment, you will improve your stencil quality and avoid additional costs in downstream processes.
